Welcome to Manchester Somali Senior Citizen Care
Manchester Somali Senior Citizens Care (MSSCC) is a registered charity which was formed in 2007 from ideas based on research carried out to look into the needs of the local Somali community in Manchester. MSSCC is run by dedicated volunteers.
MSSCC came into being to cater for the evolving needs of this vulnerable and neglected sector of the community. The ethos of the organisation is therefore to develop a range of projects designed to work with the elderly and the disabled members of the Somali community living in Manchester.
Our Service Aims
Although the focus is primarily geared towards the elderly and the disabled members of the Somali community, we welcome the input and participation of all members of the community. more
Volunteers
We like most charities rely on the support of the local community and many volunteers come forward to help us. Without these people charities such as MSSCC would not exist. more
Our Policies
We have all the policies in place like Equal Opportunity Policy, Health and Safety Policy, Elderly and Vulnerable People Protection Policy, Grievance Procedure Policy, Information and Data Protection Policy. more
